The pioneering design of The Alan Turing Building represents the aspirations of the University of Manchester as one of the world’s leading research institutions. Housing the Departments of Mathematics, Photon Science and Astronomy, the buiding consists of 3 blocks with a raft of photovoltaic panels unifying the mass. The building is cladded in zinc and curtain walling at ground level. Abdel worked on the delivery of this project whilst at Sheppard Robson (2005-2006).
Centre For Tropical And Infectious Diseases, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom
The pioneering design of the Centre For Tropical and Infectious Diseases represents a new facility for the world famous Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Providing world class laboratories and an innovative use of sandstone cladding and curtain walling. Abdel worked on the delivery of this project whilst at Sheppard Robson (2005-2006).
