New Office Refurbishment – Beaumont Morgan – Manchester
Koussa Architects provided this office fit-out plan for BM Construction new offices located in MacLaren House. Stretford, Manchester.
Broughton Retail Park- Chester – UK
Working on Behalf of 3D Reid, Manchester, Koussa Architects provided Architectural Design Services to deliver the Tender Documentation and Construction Phase Services for the redevelopment and refurbishment of this established retail park for client British Land. Work required the sub-division of an existing retail unit to be developed into stores for Primark, Arcadis and M&S Food. The entire front elevation of the retail units were redesigned to allow for new structural glazing, newly refurbished pedestrian circulation areas and external canopy. Abdel also went on to lead this £25m project through to Practical Completio(15.10.15) working closely with McLaren Group and their sub-contractors. Abdel also provided Construction Phase services up to Practical Completion for the sub-division of Unit 5 into two stores for the Card Factory and Specsavers. Abdel provided construction phase services for the refurbishment of the existing amenities within the management suite for retail customer use. Abdel’s role also included design coordination responsibility for the retail park along with detail design responsibility.
Co-Operative Retail Stores – UK Sites
Working on Behalf of Corstorphine + Wright Koussa Architects completed the planning applications for 13 Co-Op retail outlets located on various sites around the UK. The work involved the master-planning of sites previously occupied by public houses which were either removed or retained depending on their profitability. The Design work included retail outlets of varying sizes, soft landscaping, car parking and the retention and refurbishment of external public spaces.
